Strong and tough materials used
Brookes & Adams Ltd forged manganese bronze and brass fittings are made from alloy CZ114 and CZ122 respectively.
The stainless steel yacht fittings are made from type 316 molybdenum bearing, austenitic steel, which is the ideal material, being strong, tough and resistant to sea water corrosion. These fittings have a satin finish with a high polish on selected surfaces. Also available is a range of stainless steel D shackles, long D shackles, harp shackles and twisted shackles in sizes from 3/16″ to 5/8″
